The Ruins of Kerpaterick
Long ago, a mighty group of humans roamed these lands. They were known as the Kerpat, conquering L'Ile. They built a town, small but mighty. Though Kerpaterick's tragic fate was determined by war, the town still stands in ruins, a few miles west of the bridge. Here is one of the few places where the snow falls only in winter- the rest of the year, it's mostly rain. Though, it's quite cold. Most of the buildings are crumpled, save for one stone castle nestled in the corner of the town. The place is said to be haunted, and is indeed very dangerous for wanderers..

Sector One- Misty Mountain
Misty Mountain is probably not such a great name for this place. Sure, it's a mountain. But, misty it is not. The mountain, it's highest peak reaching the clouds, is treacherous and snowy- all year round. The winds are brutal and cold. A hard place to dwell...

Sector Two- Peaceful Pond
The pond is large- very, very large. And, the area around it is small. Any time other than summer, the surface of the monstrous body is icy- a good thickness to the ice, as well. Only in the summer does it melt, when its inhabitants are forced to confine themselves to the land. During the winter, this flat place offers little shelter, other than a small cave able to fit about fifteen horses tucked along one edge of the pond. North of the Homelands, Peaceful Pond does not live up to its name. The weather is cold and windy- perhaps the most difficult place in L'Ile t survive on...

Sector Three- Hell's Haunt
The horses who dwell in the haunt are as tough as stone- they have to be. Their shelter is merely a cave, a large cave, where they all are forced to dwell together all year round. This place is located by the sea, which never freezes. The water here is salty, and does not satisfy thirst, so the horses survive off of clumps of snow that litter the sand. The only vegetation here is beach grass, but it dies in the winter, and so the inhabitants must pick their way through snow and ice to snatch the frozen bits.

The Homelands
Here, just North of the bridge, is a long, large valley, between two enourmous hills. Like the majority of the lands on L'Ile, this flat land is snow-covered year round. Whether it be merely dotted with the white in the summer, or covered in the winter, it's a treacherous place to live. Little shelter comes from the hills, and wind sweeps across the valley frequent and mercilessly. Here is where meetings are held, a place where herd members meet to discuss current events.
Also the place where Coup de Fusil and those who have chosen to join his sector reside, it is best not to invade their privacy unless a meeting is called.
